It was announced this morning on social media that a huge concert is happening on Sunday, June 11th, at Cowboys Nightclub. Featuring Jeff Dugan, Dustin Sonnier, Chalan Thibodeaux, Tony Bruce, and Blaine Roy.
The concert will benefit and fund two local young men on their trip to the BASS National High School Championship in South Carolina in late July. Jesse Boudreaux and Max Deroche are both from the Acadiana area and have qualified for the High School Bassmaster tournament in South Carolina.
Max’s father is DJ Duke, the house DJ in the 90s at Cowboys Nightclub has recruited some of the biggest names from that era of Cowboys. The excitement has been overwhelming on the heels of the announcement. Craig called into the afternoon drive to talk about the benefit.
