Cajuns Baseball are In NCAA

After a great performance in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament in Montgomery, Louisiana accomplished enough to punch a ticket to Coral Gables, Florida for an NCAA regional this coming weekend. After coming up short against Southern Miss on Sunday, the Cajun Nation held their collective breath after Tulane won the AAC tournament and possibly stole the Cajuns’ spot in the field of the 64.

The Cajuns, who suffered a weekend sweep in early April, were able to collect themselves and put together a resume that got them into the tournament. As late as Monday morning by D1 Baseball, Projections put the Cajuns in the last four out. After an impressive showing in the Conference Tournament, the Cajuns officially are one of the last four in, along with Arizona, Oklahoma, and Sun Belt colleague Troy. The last four out are Arizona State, Kansas State, Kent State, and UC Irvine
