Acadiana Rallies for Injured Cowboy Dylan Terro with “Trippin Latches for Terro” Rodeo Fundraiser and Community Blood Drive
SCOTT, LA – The Acadiana community is uniting to support one of its own, cowboy Dylan Terro, who was seriously injured at the Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo in Cheyenne, Wyoming. A massive dual-event fundraiser, “Trippin Latches for Terro,” has been organized for Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Ken Bacque Memorial Arena in Scott, Louisiana.
The event will feature a thrilling rodeo showcase, a live and silent auction, and a critical community blood drive to replenish the blood supply used in Terro’s care.
RODEO & FUNDRAISER DETAILS
The main rodeo event, “Bares, Broncs & Bulls,” will begin at 2:00 PM and promises top-notch action. Top-tier cowboys will meet award-winning stock in an invitational format designed solely to support Dylan Terro. This is billed as “The Buck Out You Don’t Want to Miss!!”
In addition to the roughstock action, the fundraiser will include:
Live and Silent Auction: Featuring donated items and experiences to raise funds for Terro’s ongoing medical expenses and recovery.
Kids Calf Scramble: Entertainment and participation for younger attendees.
CRITICAL BLOOD DRIVE
To ensure the blood supply used during Dylan Terro’s extensive medical treatment is replenished for others in need, LifeShare Blood Center is hosting a mobile unit on-site.
