Duson police arrested two armed robbery suspects. The victims were robbed at gunpoint. Police said the robbers stole $3,000 in cash, a collection of power tools, as well as cell phones from two workers who had just gotten paid.

Troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop A responded to a two-vehicle crash in Ascension Parish. The crash ultimately claimed the life of a 22, Opelousas man.
