Boots and Ballgowns, a special event celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Louisiana Cattle Festival, is set to take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025. This night of “Western elegance and Southern charm” will honor Louisiana’s rich cattle heritage and the hardworking men and women of the industry.
The event will be held at L’Eglise at 3203 J Alcee Rd. in Abbeville. Tickets are $50 per person, and the event runs from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. For those wishing to reserve a table for a group, tables are available upon request for $750, which includes 10 tickets.
The Louisiana Cattle Festival has a long history, originally starting as the Dairy Festival, before its name changed in 1979 to honor the entire Louisiana Cattle Industry. Attendees are encouraged to wear cocktail or formal attire, with no jeans allowed.
