🏈 2025 LHSAA Football Playoff Brackets Released
The Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) officially released the playoff brackets for the 2025 football championship this Sunday morning. Teams are now preparing for the “third season” as they begin their quest for a state title.Here is a breakdown of the number one seeds and notable matchups across the divisions:

Division I Ruston
Notable Acadiana/Area Teams and Seeds: Westgate (16), Southside (8), Barbe (26)
Division II North DeSoto
Notable Acadiana/Area Teams and Seeds: Deridder (16) hosts Eunice (17), Jennings (9) hosts St. Martinville (24), Rayne (25) at Franklinton, Livonia (28), Cecilia (13), Opelousas (19), Abbeville (26), Iowa (2) – Bye, Iota (23) at Lutcher
Division III Jena
Notable Acadiana/Area Teams and Seeds: Erath (5), Church Point (10) hosts North Webster, Kaplan (20), Ville Platte (26), Westlake (18)
Division IV Haynesville
Notable Acadiana/Area Teams and Seeds: Franklin (17), Dequincy (25), Welsh (12), Lake Arthur (21), Delcambre (26)
Key Non-Select Matchups:
In Division IV, district rivals Welsh (12) and Lake Arthur (21) will face each other in week 11.The Division II matchup between Rayne (25) and Franklinton will be broadcast on Freedom 95.1 and the Freedom 95.1 App on Friday night, along with Church Point hosting North Webster, and Iota traveling to Lutcher.
