The Gueydan Duck Festival is planning its annual festival for 2023 in August.
The Gueydan Duck Festival committee is starting its preparations for its annual festival from August 24th through 27th. The festival has started announcing its honorees for the 2023 Festival. The Gueydan Duck Festival has named the Honoree of the 2023 festival Brandy Broussard, who responded to the announcement,
“I am truly humbled by this tremendous honor.”
The festival has announced the 2023 Festival Grand Marshal as Freedom 95.1’s Eric C. White.
“I was totally surprised when I got the call and asked if I would accept the honor this year. The Gueydan Duck Festival is truly one of the fun weekends in Acadiana. So much work goes into producing a top-notch festival for Acadiana.” – Eric White.
The festival has also announced the Junior Grand Marshals as Ryleigh Duprie and Nikolas Lepretre.
