Erath 4th of July Celebration-June 30th – July 4th- Annual Fun Run-Erath High School Stadium-5K Run & 1 mile walk.-7:30 AM, Water Fights-Downtown Erath-Water Fights Between the Area Fire Departments-9:00 AM, Parade at 5:00 PM, street fair with rides, fais do-do, Giant Firework Display over Erath at 9 pm. Parade, water fights, carnival rides, live music, pageants, food and a large fireworks display on July 4th beginning at 9 pm.
The City of Scott’s 2nd Annual Independence Day Celebration will be June 30th from 6-8:45 p.m. with free admission, food and beverages, music, kids activities, prizes and fireworks at La Maison De Begnaud.
Jennings Festival Association presents Stars and Stripes Festival July 1st with a BBQ contest, food trucks, market, games, music and fireworks show at sundown at the Jennings Oil and Gas Park.
CANCELED!!!Town of Elton’s Independence Day Celebration will be July 1st at Elton Town Park from 4-9 p.m. with a waterslide for the kids, vendors, food and fireworks at 8:30 p.m. ***Due to the Parish-wide burn ban the Town of Elton will have to CANCEL the Independence Day Celebration that was scheduled for this weekend(Sat July 1st). So sorry for the inconvenience! It’s too hot and too dry…we’ll reschedule for a time when conditions are safer for our community.***
Church Point Community Development presents the first ever outdoor concert at Central Park, downtown Church Point on Saturday July 1st! Buggy Town Get Down will feature live entertainment from Janson Matte (5:00p – 6:00p), Wayne Singleton & Same Ol 2 Step (6:15p – 7:45p), Three Thirty Seven Band (8:00p-10:00p), and a fireworks show will close out the night at 10:15! Admission is free, food and drinks will be sold, $5 wristbands to purchase alcohol (21+), and fun jumps for the kids! VIP Passes & Sponsorships are available. No ice chests please! Chairs are welcome.
Youngsville Independence Celebration, Monday, July 3rd at the Youngsville Sports Complex. This free and family friendly event begins at 5pm and ends at 9pm. Live Music by Ray Boudreaux, The Good Dudes, School of Rock, & DJ RV. Ryan Veillon. Plus, kids’ activities, pop up vendors, food and beverages for sale and the night will conclude with a massive fireworks display! Please leave your ice chest at home. Food & Beverage concessions will be available.
The Town of Lake Arthur will hold Freedom Fest July 3rd with a parade at 6 p.m. then music from 7-10 p.m. by Leroy Thomas with state & local political candidates in attendance at the Main Pavilion at Lake Arthur Park. Free and open to the public.
St. Landry Parish Government invites everyone to the Red, White, and Boom 4th of July celebration! July 4th at the Yambilee grounds at the Ag Arena, grounds open at 3:30 p.m. with an amazing lineup of live music featuring Gerald Gruenig & Gentilly Zydeco, and Three Thirty Seven! Then wrap up Independence Day with a breathtaking fireworks display starting at 9 PM. This family-friendly event with great music and delicious food and a fantastic atmosphere. The City of Crowley is proud to announce the Red, Rice and Blue Celebration at the Acadia Parish Rice Arena on the Fourth of July. A fun filled event with live music, BBQ cook-off and cornhole. The event will begin at 10AM and the fireworks will launch at 9 PM Fourth of July Evening. 18th Annual Fireworks Show happening over St. Julien Park in Broussard on Tuesday, July 4th. Gates open at 5:00 pm at the Broussard Sports Complex, and we will have our traditional event that includes activities for the kids, a DJ, and live music by Louisiana Red for everyone to enjoy! The Fireworks Show will begin at 9 pm! Don’t forget your blankets and lawn chairs, but please leave your ice chests at home. There will be plenty of food and drinks available for purchase.
