Crowley, LA – Local high school football teams are gearing up for the 2025 season, with the annual Acadia-Vermilion Jamboree serving as the official kickoff. The two-day event, featuring teams from both parishes, promises to be a thrilling prelude to the regular season.
The jamboree begins on Thursday, August 28, at Crowley High School. The evening’s schedule includes a matchup between Abbeville and Eunice at 6:00 p.m., followed by a clash between North Vermilion and the host team Crowley at 7:30 p.m.
The action moves to Vermilion Parish on Friday, August 29, with games hosted at Kaplan High School. Church Point will take on Erath at 6:30 p.m., and the night will conclude with a contest between Rayne and Kaplan at 8:00 p.m.
Admission for each night of the jamboree is $8.00. Fans are encouraged to purchase presale tickets, which are available at each of the participating schools. The jamboree offers an excellent opportunity for teams to test their skills and for fans to get a first glimpse of their favorite players before the season officially begins.
