Church Point native Waylon Bourgeois has earned his second straight paycheck at his first National Finals Rodeo. Bourgeois finished in a three-way tie in Round two with Carencro native Kade Sonnier. In Round three, Bourgeois finished first for his first win with an 87.25, and Kade Sonnier finished 9th with an 83. The NFR Rodeo continues through next weekend. Bourgeois had finished 2nd with an 86.75 in Round one while Sonnier finished thirteenth with an 81.5.
