The 51st annual Vermilion Parish Livestock Show takes place January 10th and 11th at the Cecil McCrory Exhibit Building in Abbeville.

The event will feature 4-H and FFA exhibitors showing hogs, sheep, goats, lambs, beef cattle, and poultry.

4-H and FFA members will exhibit starting at 9:30 A.M on Friday, starting with swine, hogs, lambs, goats, and dairy. The exhibits will continue at 1:00 P.M. with poultry followed by beef exhibits. Saturday exhibits continue with beef breeding starting with bulls and heifers.

At 12:30 P.M., Senior Livestock Exhibitors will be recognized, including showmanship, Premier Exhibitor, and Record Book Awards. The market animals will be sold at 1:00 P.M., starting with hogs, goats, commercial heifers, and Lambs.
