KYBG/KPCZ/KSIG
Status:
There were no staffing additions or changes during the period mentioned above. KYBG/KPCZ/KSIG participated in multiple job fairs and routinely conducts group training/mentoring programs for current station personnel.
Outreach:
- February 12, 2025, Participated in UL Spring Career Fair
- May 13, 2025, Participated in the LEDA Job Fair
- Sept 30, 2025, Participated in UL Fall Career Fair
- Oct 24, 2025 Participated in Lafayette Parish School College and Career Day
Training:
Station management met in Q1 and again in Q3 2025 to assess staffing needs and reviewed overall recruiting and training measures. The SEU continues a training/mentoring program to enable current station personnel to acquire skills that could qualify them for higher-level positions as they become available.
Ongoing Evaluation:
A quarterly review is conducted to assess ongoing EEO efforts. These reviews are conducted by station management. The SEU encourages all staff members to consider advancement within the organization as well as communicating any employment opportunities within the group to prospective job seekers. Station management monitors all EEO efforts as well as the applicant screening process. We continue to encourage high school and college students interested in communications to consider internships with our group.
