THE SNIFF TEST

A sniff of someone’s t-shirt is enough to predict who we will like for a friend — and who we won’t like. People’s natural, everyday scent, that from their body combined with choice of laundry detergent, perfume, hair product and deodorant, is enough to signal potential compatibility to others. The unconscious process is so quick that we can make this judgement from someone’s odor in just one-tenth of a second.
