Our Country Legend today was born into a musical family in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

This Country Legends first musical performance came at age 7, when he performed in “The Muffin Man”

This Country Legend played football, baseball, and golf in addition to running track; in his senior year, he was recognized as Best All-Around Male Athlete.

This Country Legend only reached number one five times in his career but they were five of the best country music songs of all time and he had 10 other songs reach the top ten.

Sadly, this country succumbed to Covid in March of 2020.

Today’s Country Legend is
