Louisiana State Police said a man injured in an ATV crash in Jeff Davis Parish has died.

The St. Landry Parish School Board reported a section of Highway 10 between Vidrine’s Furniture Store in Washington and North Central High School in Lebeau has collapsed and is impassable.

The Scott Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 100 block of Perry Oak Drive on Friday, March 15, just before 8:45 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters observed heavy smoke emitting from the home. Firefighters entered the structure, where they encountered heavy fire in the attic, which vented through the roof during
